Rurouni Kenshin OVA - Kenshin (18)
The beginning of the end. :-) Kenshin is basking in the sun when Kaoru approaches, bucket of cleaning water in her hands. 'As long as you're going to stay here, you can help me clean the dojo.' While this background isn't matching, it's close enough to give the flavor of the scene. This to me is one of the most visually beautiful scenes in all of anime. It's hard to grasp that this film was actually created using cels, because their detailing is so exquisite and vivid.
